Madeleine Elkins has been playing guitar for over 12 years.
In that time she has completed a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Studies at Capilano University, plays in a variety of bands and is a private guitar teacher.
She currently gigs regularly around Vancouver and is a contributing member of jazz-influenced group "Spindle!" and indie-rock band "Porteau."
She is a passionate musician and educator and looks to her female role models for inspiration.
