Sister Jazz Orchestra, Canada’s only all-female professional jazz orchestra, has been delighting Vancouver jazz audiences and providing visible female role models in jazz since 2019. Our mission: Showcasing today’s top jazzwomen to inspire tomorrow’s.
Now – here’s a more intimate way to enjoy the artistry of these powerful jazzwomen. Every Sister Jazz Quintet performance will feature a different combination of Sister Jazz Orchestra artists, giving you a window into the unique creativity of each of our individual musicians. This presentation will be led by trumpeter Heather Anderson.
